Ready, Set, Sew!From stitching a cozy pillow to crafting a stylish tote bag, personalized bookmark, and even a zippered pencil case — students will complete up to four fabulous, beginner-friendly projects they’ll be proud to show off.
No experience? No problem! We provide all the materials and step-by-step guidance.
But it’s more than just sewing — it’s STEM in action! As students ages 8-13 learn how to measure, design, construct, and problem-solve through fabric-based projects, they’ll also explore key concepts in geometry, engineering, and technology. It’s the perfect blend of creativity and critical thinking.

Using PEP or FES-UA Scholarship Funds? Here’s How to Get Started!
We’re thrilled to welcome families using Step Up for Students scholarships like PEP or FES-UA! To make the process smooth, please follow the simple steps below to ensure your child is fully registered and your reimbursement is processed without delay.
All families must first register and pay for classes directly through the Compass Outreach website.
Once your registration is complete, you will receive a payment receipt sent to the email address you used at registration. This receipt will include all the necessary registration details required by Step Up For Students.
You can then upload that document directly through your Step Up portal to request your reimbursement.
