Join Us: America's Thanksgiving Parade Turkey TrotAlumni are welcome to join us for the annual America's Thanksgiving Parade Turkey Trot in Detroit on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024.
There is an optional free bus ride down to the race. The bus will depart from the Notre Dame Prep upper school parking lot (1300 Giddings Road) at 5:30 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, and it return around 10:45 a.m. To reserve a seat on our bus, please use this registration link or feel free to meet us at 7:05 a.m. near the Joe Louis statue inside Huntington Place for our group photo.
Participants will need to register for the race on their own. There are four races that you can sign up for. Races and schedule are below.
5:30 a.m.: Bus departs NDP parking lot
7:05 a.m.: Group photo (by the Joe Louis statue, inside at 1 Washington Boulevard, Detroit)
7:30 a.m.: Mashed Potato Mile
7:30 a.m.: Turkey Trot 10K
8:30 a.m.: Stuffing Strut 5K
7:30 a.m.: Drumstick Double (10K + 5K)
9:30 a.m.: Meet near Joe Louis statue to walk back to the bus
10:45 a.m.: Estimated return to Notre Dame Prep parking lot
