About this Event
Do you care about issues such as climate change? Are you a poet and didn’t even know it! Or maybe you did. Whether you’ve the experience of Emily Dickinson or a first time poet, this workshop is for you.
Join us in Concern Worldwide Grantham Street on April 24th at 5.30pm for our climate focused slam poetry workshop facilitated by the fantastic spoken word artist Kelvin Akpaloo. Kelvin will introduce you to a whole new way to write poetry, from expressing your feelings about the climate crisis, to empowering movements for change. Forget William Shakespeare as this is poetry like you’ve never heard it before!
Registration for the event is essential and is open to those over 18 only.
