About this Event
MSU's Institute for Quantitative Health Science & Engineering (MSU IQ) is the home of groundbreaking research in engineering, human medicine and natural science. MSU IQ is focused on training the next generation of scientists to do more than just traditional research. Researchers and students from the College of Engineering, College of Human Medicine and the College of Natural Science are led by faculty from top academic centers around the world as they work. The space is dedicated to collaborative, interdisciplinary research in these three areas to help solve world problems through teamwork across different areas of study.
The Mid-Michigan Spartans are hosting a discussion and tour of IQ with founding director, Dr. Christopher Contag. Dr. Contag is an engaging speaker who easily translates the work of IQ researchers to concepts a general audience can absorb.

- Arrivals & reception from 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
- Program at 4:30 p.m.
- Facility tours begin at 5 p.m.
- Complimentary parking will be available in an adjacent lot

- High school aged children are welcome to attend with an adult

As with all Mid-Michigan Spartans events, an additional ticket option is available for those who wish to make a donation to support the operations of our club. The donation ticket is NOT a ticket to the event. If you wish to do both, make sure to select a general admission ticket and a donation ticket.
