About this Event
Beginning in 2024, Black Bar DMV Campaign partners with restaurants to prioritize opportunities to purchase from minority and Black-owned wine and spirit brands. By doing so, restaurants can actively contribute to closing the disparities for African Americans in the beverage industry. By participating in this initiative, businesses will be redistributing their funds towards minority businesses to help close the gap in representation, distribution, and market positioning opportunities in the beverage industry. All restaurants are invited to participate in this program. Guests will be invited to attend select restaurants for a Black ribbon-cutting for the symbolic bar reopening ceremony with professionals in the hospitality industry, beverage makers, local influencers, and key public figures.
