About this Event
Congresswoman Lateefah Simon will take the pulpit at Glide Memorial Church ‘s 11am service to deliver a fiery message of resistance, love, and radical inclusion. As we prepare for the devastation that will come from signing the “Big Ugly, Cruel Bill” into law—weathering cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and vital programs—the Congresswoman will speak out for the people left behind: immigrants, caregivers, and low-income families. Community power has overcome hardship before; and it can overcome it again.
Come hear from one of the Bay Area’s boldest voices in Congress as she calls out cruelty in Washington and lifts up a vision of justice rooted in lived experience and unconditional love. Drawing inspiration from previous fights and movements, she will challenge the audience to build a future grounded in compassion, not cuts. All are welcome– but those who RSVP here will be prioritized if seating fills up.
