About this Event
Chorus Iceni are an all female Chorus and have been based in Colchester for over 40 years.
We sing a range of genres in 4 part harmony under the direction of our musical director, Gaynor Schofield.
We rehearse on a Monday evening in Great Bromley Village Hall and are looking for new members to join us in all 4 voice parts. We learn from professional teach tracks so there is no requirement to be able to read music.
So that we can maintain our high standard, we ask all new members to audition and to commit to attending rehearsals regularly.
We are excited to be competing at the Ladies association of barbershop singers convention in October 2026 which is being held in Harrogate so 2026 will include some Sunday coaching sessions as well as a number of charity concerts.
There is no charge to come along for the first few weeks and membership is then £30/month.
