You read that right; we're adding CHOREOGRAPHY to Johnny Legdick. That is of course... if we can find some awesome dancing freaks to join our little circus. For those unfamiliar with the show: Johnny Legdick is a rock opera that is as silly as it is heartwarming. We've won multiple awards and have FIVE sold out runs under our belt.
Production dates: Feb 13-15, tech week Feb 10
Rehearsals in January, TBD
Small honorariums will be offered based on ticket sales.
Audition date: Saturday, December 14 from 4:30pm-6:00pm
Dancers are to prep a 60-90 second choreography in a pop-rock-opera style to one of the following songs from the Johnny Legdick soundtrack:

HANNAH
YOU'RE MINE
FREAKS WILL RISE

I am also looking for a choreographer (can be one of the dancers or not) to collaborate with me, Jimmy, the director, on the artistic vision of the numbers.
Performers of all ethno-cultural backgrounds, diverse ages and body types are encouraged to audition. We are accepting submissions from folks across the spectrum of identity.
Amy Blackmore will be helping me run this audition; you may know her as the artistic director of MainLine and FringeMTL as well as the director of the epic yearly production of The Rocky Horror Show! Please feel free to comment here with any further questions.
