Opening January 25, 2025, at the award-winning Fullerton Museum Center, 1968: A Folsom Redemption & Beyond Confinement: The Untold Stories.Celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of a landmark event, 1968: A Folsom Redemption is a collection of photographs and memories of two journalists lucky enough to be among a handful of eyewitnesses to the historic Johnny Cash concerts at Folsom Prison.
In dialogue with this historic moment, Beyond Confinement: The Untold Stories showcases the work of individual artists affected by the incarceration system.
As well as the unveiling of our renovated auditorium, The Wilshire Room!
The evening will include live entertainment by “Cashin' In" Steve Waddington's Tribute to Johnny Cash, a specialty bar, and a curator & artist talk. VIP reception starts at 5:00 pm and includes appetizers and drinks.
