JOHNNY BONES AND THE PALACE OF JAZZ:Johnny Bones, the regular sax player for the California Honeydrops, has put together his own all-star group to keep you dancing all night! Strongly influenced by the early hot jazz bands, Johnny Bones and The Palace of Jazz combines the intimacy of smaller groups with the energy of powerful musicianship. Whether playing standards or original material, this band will get the joint jumpin'!
WOODCHOPPER'S BALL:
The Woodchopper's Ball, San Francisco's swing hot spot, is a weekly Tuesday night swing dance event held at the historic Verdi Club in San Francisco's Mission district. Named after the classic 1939 swing tune by the Woody Herman Orchestra (and their biggest hit!), it features monthly classes, a full bar (21+ only), and a dance party with a drop-in lesson and the largest variety of live swing dance music in town!

* APRIL (5-week) LINDY HOP and BALBOA monthly class series (and 9-week PERFORMANCE BALBOA class series) continue tonight, 7:00-9:00pm. Single Monthly Class drop-in: $30/person/week (includes Dance Party!), no partner required (NO drop-ins for PERFORMANCE BALBOA).
