Ably assisted by his band of players, the Elevated States, Johnny, just like Sly, wants to take you higher! Designed to rock pavements, the band initiated their Street Outreach Programme specifically to connect with Septuagenarian Skiffle Queens, Kindergarten Livewires and everyone in between who’s willing to stop and drop some kleingeld.
They have been Down on the Corner with Willy and the Poor Boys. They have shuffled and strummed on Moving Sidewalks and learnt that Woody Guthrie was right all along when he said “Folk Songs are Coming in!” But now, since all the world’s a stage, Johnny and the Elevated States want to step up on to one near you.
