Chris Welch is a southern gothic songwriter from Denton TX, writing songs for the band Pinebox Serenade and many others. Chris has been releasing records and touring in many bands for the last 20 years. His songwriting is inspired by writers like Larry Brown and Harry Crews, as much as songwriters, like Leonard Cohen and Richard Buckner. Dark stories told with a deep baritone voice.
