Jon Van Deusen is a singer-songwriter with over two decades of experience writing, recording, and performing music. He first gained national recognition as the frontman of the indie-rock band The Lonely Forest, touring with artists like Death Cab for Cutie, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and being named a “Best New Artist” by NPR.Since launching his solo career in 2017, Jon has released six full-length albums that move freely between loud, cathartic indie rock and intimate, lo-fi acoustic songs. His most recent project, As Long As I Am In The Tent Of This Body I Will Make A Joyful Noise, has earned recognition from Christianity Today and The Gospel Coalition.
John’s live shows are known for being deeply personal and engaging—part concert, part storytelling—featuring guitar and piano. His performances invite listeners into honest reflection, shared experience, and meaningful connection.
