In 1796 the notorious radical London poet and lecturer, John Thelwall arrived in Great Yarmouth to deliver his historical lectures, an event that ended in serious rioting.
Join us to mark the generous donation of manuscripts, by the John Thelwall Society and celebrate the intellectual culture of Norfolk in the 18th and 19th Centuries.
