John Schoustra, has owned Greenwood DayLily Gardens since 1989. Organic Garden Club members had a wonderful time visiting the gardens last May, where the avocado orchard and nursery are recovering from the Mountain Fire last fall. Turns out that DayLilies are fire proof and edible! John is also the orchard manager at Apricot Lane Farms of “The Biggest Little Farm” fame in Moorpark.
