He is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The American Songwriters Hall of Fame, recipient of the prestigious BMI Icon Award as well as numerous American Music, MTV awards, and multiple Grammy nominations.
At the Newtown concert, Oates will perform a mix of his solo material, some covers, and a handful of Hall & Oates’ mega hits. Oates will be part of a four-piece band that includes him on acoustic guitar/vocals, percussion/backing vocals, cello, and electric guitar/pedal steel.
