All for a good cause, the aim of this challenge is simple. Watch the sunrise at John o’ Groats on the longest day of the year at 04:02 and attempt to reach Lands End before it sets again at 21:36. That’s a time difference of 17hrs and 34 minutes. To make it especially difficult, we’re also going to attempt it in cars that cost no more than £500. Main obstacles on the day will include traffic delays, roadworks, potential breakdowns, as well as driver fatigue given the extremely long distances needed to be covered to complete the challenge. At least 2 drivers each car is recommend.
