Join us on Sunday, September 8 at 12pm PT when we are joined virtually by John Finnemore to celebrate the release of The Researcher's First Muder: A Cain's Jawbone Puzzle! Finnemore, writer and the fourth known person in history to solve Cain's Jawbone, will be joined by publisher and Unbound co-founder, John Mitchinson.

Finnemore and Mitchinson will discuss the project, have a few laughs, and answer audience questions.

This event is free to attend, though you will have the option to purchase a copy of The Researcher's First M**der with your registration.

About the Mystery
The next challenge for fans of Cain's Jawbone: the TikTok sensation and international bestseller.

A body is found stabbed to death in a locked room. The police find no weapon, no motive and no suspects.

However, the murderer has in their possession a box of one hundred cryptic picture postcards which – if properly understood – would explain not just this M**der, but nine others. These are those cards.

Solvers must rearrange the pages of text to unravel the story and identify the murderer, victim and location for each of the ten murders. They must also consider the separate puzzles presented by the curious images on the other sides.

About the Author
John Finnemore is a British writer, best known for his shows 'Cabin Pressure', 'Double Acts', and 'John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme' for the BBC. He has won many awards, including the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain Outstanding Contribution to Writing award in 2020. He also sets Listener crosswords for the Times, under the name Emu.

He solved Cain’s Jawbone as a lockdown project in 2020. He sincerely hopes it will not take a worldwide pandemic to solve this one.
