John Crawford is one of the finest Latin/Jazz pianists on the scene, and brings impressive technique and musicianship to his blend of jazz, flamenco and Latin. He has worked with the likes of Latin legends Airto Moreira and Giovanni Hidalgo as well as UK based artists such as Snowboy and Roberto Pla. In addition his non-Latin work includes gigs with the likes of Bjork, Tanita Tikarem and Kirsty McColl.

He is known as one of this country’s leading exponents of Spanish music and his set tonight will be a mixture of classic flamenco re-workings and latin jazz.His debut cd CD “Ulia River of Time” was nominated for ‘Best Jazz Recording’ in the 2013 Independent Music Awards, and the follow up, "Times and Tides" was described by Jazz Journal as "Latin flavoured Jazz from master of the Genre". In 2022 the Quintet will record the third album, "Room for Dancing", and will be showcasing songs form this forthcoming release.
