CDFF opens the 2025 Festival with an exclusive first look at this highlight film from Amazon Studios. The film will explore the life and legacy of the iconic funnyman John Candy, who died of a heart attack in 1994 at the age of 43. One of Candy’s big breakout movies in the United States was 1984’s Splash in which he co-starred with Director Colin Hanks’ father, Tom Hanks.
