The Summit County Historical Society and Akron Zoo will partner again this summer to host a free hike up to the John Brown Monument.Dave Lieberth, Society Director Emeritus, and Leianne Neff Heppner, Society president & CEO, will share the history of the monument and the life of John Brown.
Please dress according to the weather (held rain or shine) and wear hiking shoes as the terrain is uphill and unlevel at spots.
