Join our virtual audience and hear the pieces our students have composed over the fall session and connect with our young composers in the live chat!
The students in Crowden's John Adams Young Composers Program (Matthew Cmiel, Program Director) have been studying how composers and artists have incorporated electronics into their works throughout the years. From musique concrète to electronic dance music, they've studied it all—and are excited to synthesize their inspiration to make some interesting, exciting, bizarre, and beautiful sounds for you all.

The John Adams Young Composers Program was founded in honor of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Adams, who has a long association with Crowden, on the occasion of his 60th birthday. The heart of our mission is to guide and mentor our students through the formative stages of their creative growth as composers.
