"Heartbreaking and stirring" - Pitchfork
"The spirit that animates much of Warren's music and philosophy [is] an enduring belief that we can be better, despite the hurt and despair we put each other and ourselves through." - NPR

“A luminous folk fantasia”- Stereogum
is the project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Kim Grant.
The alias is taken from the name of a fictional village within the pages of a Mary Anne Evans (George Eliot) novel called Silas Marner about a reclusive weaver. Growing up in the small industrial town of Motherwell she found magic and escaped in the small beauties through moments of isolation and difficulty. A thread evident in songs that oscillate from heartbreak to hopefulness, exploring dualities and inspired by a fusion of folk-rock-indie.
Inspired by the likes of Big Thief, PJ Harvey, The Microphones and This is The Kit, you can expect moments of delicate folk inspired reflection to swelling ripples of distortion and energy.
“[Catkins] Out now on Olive Grove Records, it's a dreamy piece of indie pop that surges to its triumphant conclusion, display Raveloe's abilities, and also her undaunted potential.” - The Clash
“inviting listeners into her chasm of sound that already stands out among the Scottish scene. Her latest release, “Catkins,” is another mark on the height chart for Raveloe that’s growing noticeably taller with every release.'' - Euphoria
"[Rustle In The Leaves is] A beautifully crafted folk song that finds relief and strength in facing one’s inner demons." - Podcart
"...whispers to the unseen spirits that scurry through long grass and rise through mists, following us closely, setting hairs on edge with their momentary chill." - God Is In The TV
