Turns out, you really can have two farewell shows! After a whirlwind stint in London, (in the before times), JOE SOUTHWELL is gearing up to head overseas again with another round of goodbyes at the Ellington. Get ready for a night of music and laughs as Joe, one of Perth’s beloved low-end wizards, brings together a group of talented musicians for a special performance.
The evening kicks off with a duo set featuring RHYS WOOD and JOE, whose shared love for Guinness guarantees a performance that’s as smooth and rich as their favourite pint. In the second set, an ensemble featuring VICTORIA NEWTON and SAM NAFIE on vocals, HARRY MITCHELL on keys, STEVE JUDD on drums, and SOUTHWELL on bass will take the stage for a playful and colourful sonic adventure.
Expect a diverse mix of genres and some of Joe’s favourite tunes, brought to life by this exceptional lineup.
