Joe Sciallo & The Deep End bring the blues, whether it’s torching a vintage West Coast jump, or grooving on a jazz boogaloo, or nailing an uptempo modern shuffle. Sciallo brings an authentic touch to the world of instrumental blues and “bluesy” jazz tunes while also breaking out his own original compositions.
Think Pee Wee Crayton meets Lou Donaldson, or Hollywood Fats interpreting James Brown…and you’re on the way to getting the Deep End vibe. Holding it all down is drummer Stefan Flores and bassist John Flores, locking in a backbeat that keeps the whole thing cruising down the road at 100 miles per hour.
