Joe Brotherton has been top of our list for some time, and we are now finally able to feature him here in the Hemingway Room.
He is acclaimed for his unique trumpet style and exceptional musicianship. Jazz Improv Magazine named Joe “an exciting and spectacular soloist, well-schooled in the tradition and post-bop concepts”, singling out his solos for their “clarity, connectivity of ideas, clear articulation, intonation, and tasteful and measured use of his ample technique.”

Little Havana continues to be an important part of the fabric of Federal Hill and the surrounding neighborhoods and welcomes The Sonic Lifeline Jazz Series to the Hemingway Room.
