As was the case at Joe’s last performance at the 9th Ward, this promises to be an entertaining evening of stories, songs, surprises and possibly a special guest or two - that will put a smile on your face and leave you feeling better than you did when you got there.
Joe is the keyboard player in the nationally recognized Buffalo-based band, Organ Fairchild, and has been a part of the Buffalo music scene since the early 80s, performing with a host of local bands and on his own over that time. Organ Fairchild’s steady rise over the last several years has seen the band take on more touring dates with 2025 set to break all records so this will be the only opportunity to experience The Best Day Ever in the first half of 2025.
Volume 3 is special for 2 other reasons as well – April 18th is Joe’s birthday – No presents required – You will receive the gift of music if you attend – and – Joe is leaving his long-time corporate position to pursue music full-time and this will be his first performance in that capacity.
This third edition of The Best Day ever will feature a story told in 4 Chapters:
1. The music of Genesis – interpreted for solo piano
a) This feature of the second edition received so much positive feedback that it has been expanded and will include selections from several Genesis albums
2. Songs that Matter (To Joe) and the stories behind why
3. Musical Heroes and the stories behind their impact
4. Requests, original material, unscheduled events, and anything else that might happen during the show.
