About the Speaker
As an investigative journalist, Jodi Kantor has had a singular influence on American law, labor, politics, and culture. Her reporting on Starbucks and Amazon led to reforms in shift scheduling and family leave policies. Her series on Harvey Weinstein—co-reported with Megan Twohey—helped bring the producer to justice and catalyze the #MeToo Movement. Kantor’s current work on the Supreme Court has revealed conflicts of interest during a decisive chapter in the institution’s history.

Jodi Kantor will serve as the Keables Scholar at ‘Iolani School and the Dai Ho Chun Chair at UH Mānoa. The Dai Ho Chun Distinguished Chair was established at the UH Foundation by the late Dr. Dai Ho Chun.
