Celebrate Joanne’s 250th parkrun!At parkrun, participation milestones usually preceed volunteer milestones. For example, for many of us achieving our 25th run or walk came well before our 25th volunteering occasion.
Joanne Watkins (the Event Director of our parkrun), as we all know, is different and very special.
Joanne achieved her 250th Volunteer Milestone on November 16, 2019. Way back before COVID!
Now, almost 5 years later, on November 9, 2024, Joanne will finally get to celebrate her 250th occasion participating at parkrun.
Join Joanne at Albert Melbourne parkrun to celebrate perseverance and the power of participation. We’ll have some cakes at the end.
