SINGING WORKSHOP on CORTES
On Sunday, Mar 17th at 1:00-3:00 Joanna will be presenting a sound bath and soul song vocal workshop at the Gorge Hall on Cortes. A lifelong vocal explorer from classical to jazz to animals, machines, insects and elements, Joanna approaches music with a sense of adventure that is humorous, playful and inspiring. She has an infectious way of drawing out shy or bold voices so that everyone feels included and all voices are heard. For this workshop we will be focussing on earth positive, soul stirring “Sound Mandelas” that elevate a collective feeling of love and joy.
We begin with a Sound Bath Journey with crystal bowls, flutes and a guided meditation that brings everyone into a calm centre from which we will emerge into harmony and playful improvisation games.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at her website. www.joannafinch.com or at the GorgeHall on Sunday. Arrive early if paying at the door.
