Ever tried willow sculpture, or already building your animal collection, need a getaway in nature, time for a break and to relax?
You can enjoy a two day willow wellness weekend retreat, staying self catering on Flowerdew Farms eco camping and glamping site, offering non electric grass pitches, empty bell tents and a furnished bell tent. Lots of options for all price ranges.
Any level can join, come and experience a more in depth experience into the world of willow, nature, animals and wellness.
Starting or extending your own willow animal collection, you will walk away with an alpaca ( Or deer ) and goat (Or Pig) willow sculptures, all crafted by your very own hands and you get to meet the real thing!
There will also be extra special natural materials from our very own animals and friends, to add to your willow sculptures, taking them to the next level. As well as some willow to take away home with you, so that you can take some nature home, you can even stick it in the ground and grow your own.
Come and enjoy a mindful experience, either solo and take time for yourself, or with someone you want to enjoy a new experience with.

10AM Alpaca/Deer Willow Workshop Inspired by Flowerdew farms Alpacas
Jo will take you through all the steps in creating your very own willow alpaca sculpture to take home with you and the real thing will be right in front of you for reference and inspiration.
You can opt to make a deer, sadly they would not get on with the alpacas, although you sometimes see them in the bride valley area.
Rershment’s teas and coffees will be provided.
Lunch : Self Catering / BYO Picnic Approx 1 hr

In the afternoon you will have plenty of time to finish your sculpture , followed by the opportunity to meet the goats with your willow goat, finishing approx 5pm.
Evening Free
Self Catering or opt to book a communal sharing fireside dinner *Confirm on booking
Willow weaving can be tiring and it is important to stretch and rest. Jo will give a full introduction on the course. With that in mind and we love our local area, we feel it is important to give you the free time. No obligation to join anything. Rest is best, or explore galore.

Jo will take you through all the steps in creating your very own willow goat/pig sculpture to take home with you and the real thing will be right in front of you for reference and inspiration.
Refreshments tea and coffees will be provided.

In the afternoon you will have plenty of time to finish your sculpture , followed by the opportunity to meet the goats with your willow alpaca, finishing approx 5pm.

With a small bundle of willow to take home with you, so that you can carry on finding your happy place back at home.

* Bring warm layers in case of rain or cold weather
