Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

The Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy's youth theater program offers an enriching and dynamic environment for young performers to explore their artistic talents. Designed for children to teenagers, our productions emphasize the importance of creativity, collaboration, and self-expression through the performing arts. The aspiring actors will learn stagecraft, vocal training, acting, and choreography led by experienced directors who are passionate about nurturing the next generation of artists. The age appropriate productions culminate with two or three shows at The Switch Theatre and showcase the students' hard work and dedication, fostering confidence and a sense of accomplishment. By blending education with hands-on experience, Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy empowers youth to discover their unique voices and develop essential skills that will serve them both on and off the stage.
