Featuring both women’s teams and men’s teams across the property industry, this JLL football tournament event will celebrate the Lionesses’ efforts at this summer’s Women's Euros 2022, and equally celebrate the importance of equality within women’s football and the property industry.
Date: Friday 16 September 2022, 12 noon – 4pm
Venue: Powerleague Manchester Central, 20 Union Street, Manchester, M12 4JD
Price: £350.00 per team. This includes use of full venue, trophies, referees, pre- and post-match food, tea/coffee, drinks at the bar, prizes and trophies for winners! It also includes a charity donation.
Charity: HideOut Youth Zone. HideOut Youth Zone is a charity dedicated to supporting young people by providing them with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. The money raised would be used to fund free places at HideOut's holiday club. Every school holiday HideOut provides a holiday club for young people to tackle holiday hunger and provide a safe environment for young people during school holidays. The charity aims each holiday to have 50% of places funded free. The holiday club runs from 8 am – 5pm and young people are given breakfast, dinner, and afternoon snacks. Hideout's members come from some of the most deprived wards within Manchester and 43% of members are eligible for free school meals which means during school holidays they are unable to get a healthy nutritional hot free meal. The JLL Football Tournament will help fund over 200 places and ensure the charity is able to offer free places to the most vulnerable and provide them with a hot nutritional meal, somewhere to go and something to do during the holidays.
Teams: Five-a-side teams made up of seven players. Teams can be made up of anyone across the property industry.
Two Tournaments: A Women’s tournament and a Men’s tournament will play at the same time, but not against each other. All genders and gender identities are welcome.
