J.J. is a 13-yr old who was a victim of a hit & run accident while riding is bike on Aug., 7th in Gowanda. J.J., was discovered several hrs after the accident, was mercy flighted to Oishei Children's Hospital where he was in critical condition for three weeks. Although he is now stable, he has been transferred to Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital to undergo extensive therapy so that he may walk & talk again. Medical staff has given an estimated time of six months will be needed to accomplish this.
The family-friendly benefit will be held at Gowanda Moose Lodge on Oct 12th & was organized to help ease the financial burden of medical & travel expenses for this family of five.
