FORWARD BENDING ASANA FOCUS
This sequence of forward bending will lead you easily from simple postures to more advanced possibilities. Forward bending is our most common movement and its improvement can bring ease to our lives. This vigorous Jivamukti Yoga workshop is for all levels will focus on forward bends while giving a balanced and complete experience of asana, meditation, chanting and breath awareness.

BIRD POSES FOCUS
A Jivamukti vinyasa warm-up prepares us for several potent asanas, chosen for their ability to inspire compassion for winged beings. We'll review Eagle, Peacock, Crow, Crane, and Pigeon, and see how assuming the vibrational essence of another being helps awareness grow. This vigorous Jivamukti Yoga class for all levels will focus on bird poses.

HIP OPENING FOCUS
Tight hips and pelvic region is the curse of the modern person. The way we sit and move in our modern culture reflects a disconnection with the earth. When we learn how to release these ingrained patterns, our full range of movement becomes apparent. We will begin with an anatomical discussion of the hips, the main culprits in hip immobility before we move. Our movement will begin with some classic Jivamukti Yoga vinyasa for all levels before we slow it down for movement geared toward fascial release around the area of the hips.
