To invert means to turn upside down. Inversions challenge us to change our perception of what we think is normal. At first they may seem difficult or even scary - but when approached with a sense of ease and curiosity they become fun and something to play with. Bending backwards can have a lot of meanings. One of them is that we move into an unknown space by opening our vulnerable side of the body. What do we need in this to feel safe? Trust, a sense of stability and calmness.
