Join us to celebrate World Lindy Hop Day and Frankie Manning's birthday! (Which is actually Sunday 26th)This month we pay homage to lindy hop's African American roots and will include some special activities you don't want to miss including a Shim Sham!
These studio socials are a great opportunity to practice the moves you’ve learnt in class and hang out with your fellow dancers! The music will still be a mix of Swing & Rock'n'Roll but will lean more heavily than normal towards swing and artists who played at the Savoy ballroom.
Everyone is welcome - beginners and dancers from other studios and styles are more than welcome to come along. And you don't need to bring a partner, the taster class at the start of the night will rotate meaning you'll meet a whole bunch of new people.
Time: 7pm Frankie inspired taster class
8pm Social dancing
Cost: $20 includes class and social (can use your class pass)
No booking required but get in early to join the class. Cash or card accepted at the door.
