Join other brave and festive paddlers as we ring in the holiday season by paddling on the lake alongside Santa for his arrival at Lake Anne Plaza for the Jingle on the Lake Holiday FestivalBring your own board, kayak, canoe along with your festive/creative holiday outfit.
We will paddle down to the plaza to support Santa's arrival - then dock up and enjoy a beverage and the plaza festivities!
THIS PADDLE SESSION IS RECOMMENDED FOR EXPERIENCED PADDLERS ONLY! The water is cold and your safety and security is a primary concern. Paddlers should be prepared and dress appropriately. See disclaimer about this event below.

+ 11:30ish am - Park along Inlet Court and start gearing up at Lake Anne Boat Ramp at Inlet Court to paddle to The Lakeside dock (The Lakeside dock is the largest "marina" dock on the lake, currently home to about 10 pontoon boats. It is the only dock of its kind, you will not miss it... or all of the elves thereon.) its a 10-15 min paddle down to Lakeside Dock.
+ 11:50-12:10 PM - Make sure that you are at or around the Lakeside Cluster dock between 12:00-12:10 PM. There is a boat parade that will start around Noon. We will stage up and follow the last pontoon boat which Santa is riding on.
+12:15ish - we estimate that this is around the time that Santa will leave Lakeside Dock and we join in.
+ 12:30 - Arrival with Santa at Lake Anne Plaza
Once we arrive at Lake Anne Plaza we get a group photo and many enjoy the festivities together at Jingle on the Lake. Most paddlers just paddle back at their own convenience.
