Join us for an exciting AI Meetup in Baton Rouge! Connect with fellow creatives and explore the latest tools and techniques in AI filmmaking, game design, and visual effects. This in-person event will take place at The Smiling Dog near Celtic Studios, a hub for local filmmakers.
Whether you’re an AI enthusiast, filmmaker, game developer, or just curious about the intersection of technology and storytelling, this event is for you. The meetup will feature high-quality AI short films, engaging discussions, and an optional challenge to spark your creativity.
AGENDA:
Special guest Sam Claitor, Head of Studio at Crafty Apes and an accomplished producer and visual effects artist with credits including Captain America: Winter Soldier and Game of Thrones, will be in attendance!
We'll provide a brief overview of the AI storytelling process, covering everything from generating realistic images and character voices to image-to-video and lip-syncing tools. Guests are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet to explore some of these tools hands-on and share their results with the group.
Afterward, we’ll announce a holiday challenge for those looking to dive deeper into the AI storytelling workflow!
