Jing Ying Institute's Silent Auction & Holiday Party for the Rollin' Grizzlies begins on October 26 and ends on Saturday, December 14. The event is free and open to the public. You can view the auction any time we are open.******THE AUCTION CLOSES AT 4 PM on DECEMBER 14******
Some items will also have a "BUY IT NOW OPTION" that gives bidders the opportunity to obtain a silent auction item sooner.
Proceeds will benefit the non-profit wheelchair basketball team, the Rollin' Grizzlies. The Rollin' Grizzlies helps those with spinal cord and lower limb disabilities. They give them the opportunity to play wheelchair basketball as well as provide peer mentorship and support to help individuals adjust to new injuries, develop relationships, help fund wheelchairs, and more.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
We need people to bid on items in the silent auction, and we need donors.
We accept a variety of donations, including gently used and re-gifted items (great if you are downsizing!) Everyone loves gift certificates from local businesses; so if you have a favorite business that you frequent, please consider asking for a donation. If you are a regular customer, you will probably get the best response. If you need it, we have copies of a donation request letter that includes tax information.
Items can be directly mailed to Jing Ying Institute or dropped off during class hours.
Past items that we've received: autographed books, a champagne cruise, hand-made items, furniture, Asian textiles, gift cards, digital frames, overnight hotel stays and much more! Many make wonderful gifts for you or someone you know.
We also accept money!
