We are delighted to announce the schedule of events that we have planned over the Jimmy Murray Memorial weekend on November 30th and December 1st. We have scheduled a host of events that we hope have a wide appeal all of which will culminate with the unveiling of Jimmys statue. We will also be joined by Gaa royalty over the weekend with the Artane School of Music providing the soundtrack for proceedings on the Sunday. President of the GAA, Jarlath Burns, has graciously accepted our invitation to unveil the statue which local sculptor Mark Feeley has created. And we are also delighted to announce that representatives of the 32 clubs of the county will take part in a parade from our local church to the Village Green. This is an event celebrating the entire county and we hope that Roscommon football fans and Proud Rossies come from near and far for the event!
