Join us as we celebrate a new chapter of learning at Jim Thorpe Academy with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony made possible by a generous $10,000 grant from Sovereign Bank.This grant supports our Outdoor Education and Family Sciences programs, giving students hands-on, project-based learning opportunities in home improvement and daily life skills. Through this initiative, students will maintain a functional tiny house while building real-world skills in electrical work, cooking, cleaning, landscaping, carpentry, and gardening using produce from our onsite garden and greenhouse.
