Many of you will remember Jim Ketley, who joined us on the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride and at Franks bike nights on his distinctive big red trike. Sadly, Jim passed away on 11th July.Jim spent much of his life around motorcycles, so much so that one of his children was even named after the bikes he rode as a youngster. He was also part of the famous White Helmets motorcycle display team, leaping Triumph Bonnevilles through wagons and bringing smiles to countless faces.
It feels only right that Jim’s last ride will be on the same bike that gave so much joy.
Franks Motorcycles is honoured to host Jim’s final ride on Tuesday 2nd September.
Meet at Franks from 12:30 to share memories and stories.
The ride will leave for the crematorium at around 1:45.
Afterwards, a Celebration of Life will be held at Stanway Rovers where friends and family can raise a glass in Jim’s memory.
If you have two or three wheels and a couple of hours to spare, Jim’s family would love you to join them in giving him the send-off he deserves.
