Since making their thrilling live debut at the Wilderness Festival, Jim Jones All Stars are arguably the most exciting live act on the circuit today. Fronted by legendary testifier Jim Jones - formerly of Thee Hypnotics, Black Moses, The Jim Jones Revue and Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind - his latest project sees him swan dive into both his primordial influences and his own classic-packed back catalogue to create a spicy gumbo of hot, new sounds. This is the where rock'n'roll collides with R'n'B, garage rock, soul and funk for a live experience that's like no other.Having played sold-out tours across the UK and Europe, Jim Jones All Stars have also supercharged festivals at home as well as abroad. These include Boomtown and Hipsville in the UK, while further afield the band has shared a bill with Iggy Pop at Spain's celebrated Azkena Rock Festival. With such a pedigree, it's little wonder that Jim Jones All Stars were personally invited by rock royalty The Black Crowes to open their 2024 European tour. They're also set to tour with The Wildhearts in spring 2025.
Joined by former Jim Jones Revue members Gavin Jay (bass) and Elliot Mortimer (piano and keyboards), Jim Jones All Stars are augmented by guitarist Carlton Mauncher, drummer Aiden Sinclair, backing singer Ali Jones and the twin-baritone sax attack of Stuart Dace and Tom Hodges.
Jim Jones All Stars' debut album, 'Ain't No Peril', was released in September 2023 to universal praise. They return to the studio in 2025 to record its follow-up under the production eye of The Black Crowes' frontman Chris Robinson.
