About the Book

This Young Adult Fantasy novel, loosely based on Cyrano de Bergerac, takes place in the small town of Gascony, Pennsylvania, where a stone gargoyle, carved as part human, part dragon, and part condor, watches humans as they pass for over a decade. He can think and learn, communicating telepathically with the other gargoyles around him —but all he wants is to be one of "them"—those people who get to go to the movies, eat ice cream, and live a life of freedom. His desire to be living grows exponentially when Madeleine, a 16-year-old who talks to angels, moves to town. What he wouldn't give to just be able to speak to her...

Then one day, everything changes... Sometimes even crazy dreams come true!
