Ji Ben Qigong, is derived from Ji Ben Gong which translates as "Basic Foundational Work". It is with this practice that you learn the absolute fundamentals of Qigong, beginning with the three key aspects; Breath, Movement and Qi. Ji Ben Qigong focuses on the Wuji stance accompanied by 8 simple exercises. Qigong improves overall health and wellness, helping the body function more efficiently, from the nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, digestive and respiratory systems to helping ease muscle or joint pain, improving balance, strength and flexibility.
Although this practice is meditative, it is still very much exercise and should be thought of as such. However because the movements are relatively simple, this practice can be done by a wide range of people (16-75+).
