Join us for an intimate fireside chat series featuring celebrated Jewish food authors in conversation with JFS Founder, Naama Shefi. Each session includes a signed copy of the featured cookbook, themed bites from Malka's kitchen, and a welcome drink.
2/9 Beejhy Barhany, author of "Gursha," and chef/owner of Tsion Cafe in NYC will kick off the series. Tickets for the March events will be released in the coming weeks.

Beejhy Barhany is a distinguished chef, author, and cultural bridge-builder who uses food as a universal language to connect communities worldwide. Her pioneering cookbook, Gursha: Timeless Recipes for Modern Kitchens from Ethiopia, Israel, Harlem and Beyond, made history as the first Ethiopian Jewish cookbook from a major American publisher and was recognized as one of The New York Times' Best Cookbooks of 2025.
