This the first time we are trying a multi-day online event like this and it's likely to be imperfect. But we've frequently heard how difficult it is to making connections for those 45+ and this event - and our upcoming Jewish professional and social community for ages 45+ - is our attempt to help!

Who's invited? Everyone! We warmly welcome Jewish individuals of orientations, ages 45+ (and those that love them). Jewish Connection Weekend is all about uniting our community, transcending geographical boundaries and time zones (however certain events, such as speed dating, and rooms in the Social Lounge, may be geared to particular age groups or locations).

If you're open to trying something new and having fun along the way, this event is tailor-made for you. Here's what you can expect:

The Social Lounge

The Social Lounge is the vibrant hub of Jewish Connection Weekend.

Open day and night, but expected to be more popular in the evenings (perhaps with an earlier East Coast and later West Coast tilt), The Social Lounge is your place to connect around commonalities.

Join public rooms around topics that we've crafted to get you started (including rooms geared to specific age ranges and locations) or create your own room around your favorite subjects!

Want to chat about the latest season of your favorite show with people in their 50s from NYC? Or just want to connect with singles in your age group in your city? You can make it happen in The Social Lounge.

What's even cooler? You can view profiles and invite specific attendees to your room. Or invite someone to a private room to deepen a connection.

• Our normal speed datings events are age/location specific only). Jewish Connection Weekend will offer these sessions, too but also provide other options to meet people from different locations.
  
• After you meet someone during a Jewish Connection Weekend Speed Dating session, you can message them directly if interested in getting to know them better (or invite them to a video / audio / text chat), putting you in control of your connections. Or you can let us know everyone you are interested in at the end of the weekend and we'll make the connection for you!
