Silver Jewelry Making Workshop
*This class you have a chice between making a stack ring set or a bracelet. Please contact me at [email protected] & let me know which you would like to make so I can bring the appropriate materials. The bracelet will have a $10 materials fee paid in class.
Come join us for a fun and creative evening of Jewelry Making! We aren't just stringing beads on a wire- we will be shaping and forming sterling silver into rings! No experience necessary- this is a "one and done" class where you will leave with fabuilous jewelry designed by you & an incredible sense of accomplishment. I provide all materials and tools- you provide an eagerness to learn.
These classes are fun and educational providing the foundations of silversmithing.
In this workshop students will make their own jewelry from start to finish. This class will cover basic metalsmithing skills, such as cutting, shaping, and joining metal. You will customize your ring bands with surface design techniques such as filing, stamping, stone setting, and hammering. IMPORTANT: Masks are optional in this workshop. (For safety, be sure to wear closed toe shoes and have long hair pulled back with clips or in a ponytail.) Open to adults only. Please contact us directly if you are interested in seeing metalsmithing options for teens.
