Students will learn how to make earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else you want out of silver, gold and precious stones.Please bring some design ideas, your metal and stones. We will teach you the skills to create jewelry from your designs. If you do not have any ideas, we will help you get started. Silver and stones can also be bought from the instructor.
Class size will be limited to about 4 so more 1 on 1 instruction can be given.
ALL skill levels are invited to class.
Class offered:
Mondays, beginning May 6, 6pm-8pm
Wednesdays 10am-12pm
Private classes and parties are also available.
Class is $40/per each 2-hour class. Punch passes are also available: 3 classes for $100.. You can pay for the class in person at the store or on our website at https://localartisancollective.com/events
Class is taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation master silversmith. He was taught as a youth by his father and later took specialized classes. In addition to classes taught at The Local Artisan Collective, he teaches jewelry making and metal smithing at Weber State University.
